What the desk sends upstairs

Sensual, tantra, nuru, a booking for two, and the mirrored pair: five forms the rota actually masters, rather than a long card of names. Each travels in one quiet bag and is ready within minutes of the knock.

Five names make the whole card, and the desk prefers it that way: a rota of fifteen can hold five forms to a five-star standard, or fifty to none. Everything a session requires comes up with the therapist, oil or gel, her own linens, sheeting where the form wants it, and is gone again when she is.

Reading the menu against your room

The honest way to choose is to look around you. A gabled double inside the canal ring takes the sensual hour and tantra beautifully and resists the pair, which needs clear passage on both flanks of the bed. The Zuidas towers take everything, nuru included, because the heating answers quickly and the bathrooms were built this decade. A museum-quarter boutique sits between the two cases; ask the desk, and it will answer from memory, having stood in most of those rooms before.

Nuru asks the most of a venue, warmth first, a proper shower after, and repays the trouble more generously than anything else listed. Tantra asks nothing of the architecture and everything of the diary; book it when the evening is genuinely empty. The couples session and the four-hand pair each bring a second therapist at €360 the hour, and both go better when the room is described in advance.

If the choice will not settle

Take the sensual hour. It is the form the rota performs most often and the standard the other four are measured against here. Send the building and the hour; everything else has a sensible default.
