01 Where it comes fromOrigin Synchronised two-practitioner work is old, Kerala's oil traditions trained it formally, with pairs schooled to a shared rhythm, and European spas revived the format under the four-hand name generations later. The version that reached hotel floors kept one requirement intact through every translation: the two must be a practised pair, never two strangers sharing a booking. In its hotel form the pair travels as one visit, which keeps the lobby part of the evening as unremarkable as any single booking.

02 How the hands workTechnique One leads and one mirrors, and the lead changes sides without the guest ever feeling the handover. Matched pressure matters more than matched position, two weights that disagree read as interruption, so the pair calibrates in the opening minutes and holds the setting. The deliberate breaks in symmetry are placed in advance, not improvised. Oil comes from a single warmed bottle so both pairs of hands carry the same temperature and the same glide. The lead sets the tempo with her breathing, which her partner hears and matches, and each handover of the lead is timed to a turn of the body so that it vanishes into the movement.

03 In the roomWhat to expect A brief word between the two of them in whichever language they share, and then very little speech for the remainder. The opening is strict mirror work either side of the spine; later the symmetry breaks on purpose, one at the shoulders, one at the calves, and keeping count becomes impossible. For one guest the pair costs double the single hour, and most guests take a second, since the first is partly spent learning to stop counting hands.

The deposit, where one applies, clears in the thread after confirmation, and the rest is settled in the room before the hour begins, cash, card or crypto, with a cash sum in another currency confirmed in writing before she sets out. Every therapist profile lists each length with its own figure beside it.

Does the hourly figure cover both therapists?

It does, the figure is for the pair together, per hour, for one guest, exactly as the rates table on each therapist's profile shows it. Two hours with the pair are simply that figure taken twice; nothing further is added for the night hour, the weekend or the journey inside the ring.

Which rooms take a pair comfortably?

Any room where both long sides of the bed can be walked without turning sideways. The Zuidas towers and most suites qualify without asking; a canal-house double under the beams is worth describing to the house first, and you will be told honestly if it is too tight.

Can four hands run into an overnight?

Yes, at a fixed figure. Eight hours with two therapists for one guest are quoted as one block, confirmed with a deposit of half, and the rates table on each profile shows it beside the one-therapist night. Name the pair you want, and the house confirms which nights both are free.

Is two hours of four-hand massage too much?

Rarely. The first hour spends some of its minutes teaching the body to stop tracking two people, and the second is where most guests finally lose count altogether. A second hour booked ahead costs the pair's hourly figure again and nothing more; if one hour feels right on the night, the lead therapist will close the session gracefully at sixty minutes.
