Deposit terms for a hotel suite booking
The deposit is half the fee, named in the thread once the hour is agreed and paid electronically before she sets out; the notice given decides any refund.
A five-star hotel guarantees a late arrival with a card; the house confirms certain reservations with half their price. The share is fifty percent wherever a deposit applies, the same proportion for every guest. Once the hour is agreed, the exact amount is written into the WhatsApp thread, and it has to clear before she sets out for the hotel.
Where it applies
Half in advance confirms:
- a reservation made more than twenty-four hours before it begins;
- every overnight;
- every reservation for two therapists;
- a visit to Schiphol or to an airport hotel, arranged ahead, with the journey time agreed with the guest before anything is fixed;
- the peak calendar, meaning King's Day, ADE, Pride, the Christmas and New Year period, and the weeks of the city's big conferences;
- any session lasting three hours or more;
- the very first reservation a guest makes, whatever its length or hour.
One reservation stands outside that list: a same-day massage of one or two hours for a returning guest. It is paid entirely in the room, and it is the exception, not the rule.
Sums and means
One guest with two therapists for two hours sends half of that fee up front, and a couple with two therapists for the same two hours sends half of a fee twice as large. A newcomer's ninety minutes follow the identical rule: half ahead, half at the door.
Card is the first route for the deposit, and Revolut, Wise and cryptocurrency are there for a guest who would rather use one of them. Cash cannot confirm a reservation, because banknotes travel with the therapist and belong to the balance. The sum and the way to pay it are set out in writing in the thread before she leaves.
When plans change
What happens to a deposit after a cancellation turns on the notice. With more than twenty-four hours in hand, it returns in full. Inside the final day, before she has set out, half of it is kept as fee the house has already earned. Once she is travelling, the whole of it counts as earned. An hour that another guest takes up brings the deposit back in full, and a guest who can show the house lost less than it kept pays no more than that loss.
