How much does a massage at your Amsterdam hotel cost? It is the question guests ask most, usually second after whether a visit to the room is possible at all. The answer is simpler than many expect, because the rate does not depend on the hotel, the district, the hour or the day of the week. Two things decide it: how many therapists come, and whether one guest or a couple is booking. After that, only the length matters.
How much does a massage at your Amsterdam hotel cost for one guest
For a single guest with one therapist, the hour is €180. Ninety minutes is €270, two hours €360 and three hours €540. Every hour beyond three adds another €180. The overnight, eight hours, is quoted as a single figure of €1,250. There is no night surcharge, no travel fee for any central hotel and no difference between a five-star suite and a small canal-house room.
A single guest who books two therapists pays double the timed figures: €360 for the hour, €540 for ninety minutes, €720 for two hours and €1,080 for three. The two-therapist overnight for a single guest is €2,880.

What the hotel adds, and what it does not
The hotel adds nothing to the fee, because the hotel is not part of the booking. Nothing appears on the room bill, and no charge passes through reception. A few hotels charge their own supplement if a second person sleeps in the room overnight, which is worth checking before booking the eight-hour overnight, but that is between the guest and the hotel.

How the payment is split
Most bookings are paid in two parts. Half the fee is sent in advance as a deposit, by card, Revolut, Wise or crypto, once the desk has accepted the booking. The other half is paid to the therapist in the room when she arrives, in cash in euros or another major currency, by card or in crypto.
The deposit applies to a first booking with the house, to any booking made more than twenty-four hours ahead, to every overnight, every two-therapist booking, every session of three hours or more, every companion format, every Schiphol or airport-hotel booking and every peak date. For a first-time guest booking an hour tonight, that means €90 in advance and €90 in the room.
Only one kind of booking is paid entirely on arrival: a same-day session of one or two hours from a guest the house has looked after before. For that guest, an hour tonight is simply €180 at the door.
If plans change
The deposit is not refunded when a booking is cancelled, whatever the notice. A booking can be moved once, to a date within fourteen days, if the request arrives more than twenty-four hours before the booked time; the deposit then carries over. A second move, or a move requested inside the last twenty-four hours, counts as a cancellation. A session ended early by the guest is charged in full. A few worked examples
A business traveller on a first visit books ninety minutes for tonight in a Zuidas hotel: €270 in total, €135 sent in advance and €135 paid in the room. A returning guest books two hours this evening near the Dam: €360, all paid on arrival. A couple plans two hours with one therapist for next Saturday: €720, with €360 as the deposit. A single guest books an overnight with two therapists: €2,880, of which €1,440 is sent in advance.
Tipping is never expected. Every guest must be twenty-one or older, and the figures above apply at every address the house covers in Amsterdam.
